Lundi üliõpilasmeeskoor Svanholm Singers esitas Lundi rahvusvahelisel koorifestivalil oktoobris 2006 kontserdi "Svanholm Singers sing Tormis". Autor võttis kontserdist osa šamaanitrummi ja alasi partii esitajana. Kogu kava salvestati kontserdijärgselt kohalikus Lomma kirikus. CD annab välja Londonis tegutsev väikefirma Toccata Records, mille asutas eesti muusikutele hästituntud retsensent ja produtsent Martin Anderson.

Svanholm Singers võtab osa koorifestivalist "Tallinn 2007", võisteldes meeskoori ja kaasaegse muusika kategooriates. Seoses nende Tallinnas viibimisega toimub uue CD esitluskontsert Eesti Muusika Päevade järelmänguna 19. aprillil kell 15 Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemia kammersaalis.

Plaadil on kaks esmasalvestust - "Raua needmise" ja "Sampo tagumise" meeskooriversioonid. Esitluskontserdil on lootust kuulda "Raua needmise" meeskooriversiooni esiettekannet Eestis. Autor lööb oma värvilist indiaanitrummi. Selle lühikontserdi kava pole veel täpsemalt teada.

Koorifestivali järelmänguna toimub meeskoori Svanholm Singers kontsert Veljo Tormise kodukihelkonnas Kuusalu rahvamajas pühapäeval 22. aprillil kell 12. Seal kõlab Lundi rahvusvahelisel koorifestivalil esitatud kava autori osavõtul. Koor teeb külaskäigu Veljo Tormise sünnikodu Kõrveaia renoveeritud rehielamusse ja suundub sealt otse Lennu Väljale.

Svanholm Singers, the students’ male choir from Lund gave a concert "Svanholm Singers sing Tormis" at the Lund International Choral Festival in October 2006. The author played the shaman drum and the part of the anvil. The whole programme was recorded after the concert at the local church in Lomma. The CD is released under the label of Toccata Records, a small London-based company founded by Martin Anderson, a critic and producer well-known to Estonian musicians.

Svanholm Singers will also participate in the "Tallinn 2007" choral festival, competing in the categories of male choirs and contemporary music. They present the new CD in concert as an "after-party" of the Estonian Music Days at the Chamber Hall of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre on 19 April at 15:00.

There are two first recordings on the CD – the male choir versions of "Curse Upon Iron" and "Forging the Sampo". We look forward to the presentation concert featuring the premiere of the male choir version of "Curse Upon Iron" in Estonia. The author will slave away on his coloured Indian drum. The programme of this brief concert is not yet available.

Another "after-party" – that of the choral festival – will see the Svanholm Singers male choir give a concert on Sunday, 22nd April at 12 at Kuusalu Community Centre in the parish where Veljo Tormis was born. They will perform the same programme as they did at the Lund International Choral Festival, with the author participating. The choir will visit the renovated threshing-barn house at Veljo Tormis’ birthplace at Kõrveaia, and then head straight for the airport.
